We lead people to Jesus by showing them that they matter.
We believe that when people are shown their worth in the eyes of Jesus -and therefore the eyes of our church- they will naturally want to chase after what truly matters: a thriving, growing relationship with Christ.

Core Values of Destination Church

Everything we do at Destination Church revolves around these 5 Core Values.

Jesus Matters

We believe that Jesus is God who became a man and lived here on earth with us. Jesus lived His life with people in mind, and came to serve us despite our sinfulness. Through his life, death, and resurrection he paid the price for our sins, and if we believe in Him, He saves us from the penalty, power, and eventually the presence of sin. His spirit prompts us to love, obey, and worship Him, changing our lives from the inside out.
This means we believe Jesus is literally the most important person in history, and what you do with Him is the most important decision you will ever make.

Relationships Matter

We believe that you can't do life alone. As human beings created in God's image, we were designed to live life in community. We strive to make our church a community where everyone feels comfortable connecting with others, building relationships, and doing life together.

Growth Matters

We believe that you can't truly meet Jesus and stay the same. In the Bible, every person who had an encounter with Jesus walked away changed, leaving behind dishonest jobs, old friends, and hurtful habits. We believe that growing closer to Jesus happens one step at a time, and therefore we strive to help every person find their Next Step in their walk with Christ.

People Matter

We believe that every person has infinite value in the eyes of Jesus regardless of gender, race, religion, past mistakes, education, or anything else. While He was on this earth, Jesus showed people they mattered by serving them, and we strive to do the same.

Giving Matters

We believe that giving is a heart issue. Jesus said, "Where your treasure is, there your heart will be." All Christians are commanded to give of their talents, time, and money: not so that the church can get something from you, but because Jesus has something better for you. Generosity breeds gratitude, so the more we give, the more grateful we become for what Jesus has given us.

"Don't be afraid, I've redeemed you. I've called your name. You're mine. When you're in over your head, I'll be there with you. When you're in rough waters, you will not go down. When you're between a rock and a hard place, it won't be a dead end Because I am God, your personal God, The Holy of Israel, your Savior. I paid a huge price for you: all of Egypt, with rich Cush and Seba thrown in! That's how much you mean to me! That's how much I love you! I'd sell off the whole world to get you back, trade the creation just for you."
Isaiah 43:1-4
